● hear

英譯:'Hearing' is an event; it is something happens to us as a natural process.

解釋:聽(強調事件)

例句:
Did you hear the thunder last night?(昨晚你有聽到打雷聲嗎?)
The line is very bad. I can't hear you.(收訊非常不好。我聽不到你說的話。)

● listen(to)

英譯:'Listening' is an action; it is something we do consciously.

解釋:聽(強調動作)

例句:
Do you listen to the radio in bed?(你在床上聽廣播嗎?)
I listened very carefully to what she said and wrote it all down.(我非常仔細聽她說話,也把話全記下來了。)◇
